In San Antonio, Friday the 13th transforms into a tattoo enthusiast’s dream with citywide shops offering flash deals and discounts.
SAN ANTONIO — Friday the 13th is considered unlucky by some, but for tattoo enthusiasts across San Antonio, it’s a day for deep discounts and flash deals.
Tattoo shops throughout the city are offering special pricing on select designs, piercings and promotions tied to the superstition-themed date. Here’s a look at some of the Friday the 13th deals:
Twisted Tattoo
$31 tattoos by appointment only at 25020 Blanco Road, Suite 120. Tattoo slots are nearly full, according to the shop. Artists with limited availability include Angel, Will, James, Manuel and Henry. The shop will also accept walk-in piercings at both of its locations throughout the day.
Mr. Luckys Tattoo
Tattoo deals priced at $20, $60 and $160 at 2856 Thousand Oaks Drive.
Heart & Dagger Tattoos
A flash tattoo sale with designs ranging from $13 to $100 at 2802 SW Loop 410. The shop is accepting walk-ins only. The promotion runs all week leading up to Saturday the 14th. Customers who participate will be entered into a raffle for a chance to win a free six-hour tattoo session.
Arc Angel Tattoo
Exclusive designs offered here will be priced between $20 and $40 at 2970 Pat Booker Road in Universal City.
Livewire Tattoo
The shop is offering $13 tattoo and piercing deals during a 24-hour event beginning midnight Thursday at 12991 Potranco Road, Suite 119.
Ink & Iron
Flash designs will be priced at $40, $60, $90 and $120 at 11415 West Ave. The event begins at noon and operates on a first-come, first-served basis.
Only shop designs are available, with no modifications. Tattoos will not be placed on hands, feet, neck or other difficult areas.
Inkline Tattoo
Flash designs available for $31 at 7325 N. Loop 1604 West.
The shop is also offering $7 piercings, limited to two per person. Additional piercing specials include $20 for nipple, industrial, vertical labret and bridge piercings, and $65 for dermal and surface piercings. Piercings are available for ages 12 and up.
Tattoos are not available on the neck, knees, ribs, stomach, feet, hands or head.
Element Tattoo
Palm-sized, full-color designs for $130 or two smaller, single-color designs for $100 at 4741 Fredericksburg Road. Appointments are available in advance, and walk-ins are welcome on a first-come, first-served basis.
