
Storms have caused road closures in San Antonio, affecting morning commute as flash flood warnings loom.
SAN ANTONIO — Storms are once again hitting the San Antonio area and surrounding counties Wednesday morning, affecting the morning commute and road conditions.
Heavy rain continues across portions of the I-35 corridor, including the northern San Antonio area. Some gauges have reported 2 to 3 inches of rain in 1 hour. Several low water crossings have already flooded.
Conditions are still very wet around 5:30 a.m. and Bexar County officials are reporting several roads closed in the county. Many of them are common low crossing areas where water can rise quickly within minutes.

A Flash Flood Warning is in effect for Bexar, Comal, Guadalupe and Kendall counties until 7:30 a.m. as storms and heavy rain move through the area Wednesday.
