
Dreaming of some interior redesign work? Whether you have a home improvement project coming down the pipeline of like to wander the halls of a home living store just to feel something. you’re in luck: A massive, multi-million-dollar furniture and decor store is in the works in Central Texas.
Furniture store chain Living Spaces is noted for its living room, dining and bedroom staples, alongside home office necessities, kid and teen-friendly furniture and decorations as well as outdoor dining, patio and entertainment spaces. The business currently only has 11 stores in Texas, including one storefront in San Antonio and another in the Austin suburb of Pflugerville.
Now, the company will welcome an easy dozen to Texas as the capital city gears up for its first in-city limits store.
Living Spaces is set to construct a nearly 129,000-square-foot retail store at 11100 S. Interstate 35 Southbound Service Road in Austin, according to records registered with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation on Wednesday, July 2. The estimated $25 million project is expected to kick off construction in March 2026, with a tentative completion date in March 2027.
Beyond the San Antonio and Austin areas, Living Spaces has also set up shop in Fort Worth, Cibolo, Grand Prairie, Frisco, Katy, Conroe, Central Houston, Humble and Friendswood. Based out of California, Living Spaces also operates storefronts in Arizona, Utah, Colorado, Kansas, Nevada and Oklahoma.
