SAN ANTONIO — One lucky high school senior got brand new wheels during his school’s senior walk last week, according to a post from Southwest ISD.

The district announced that Southwest Legacy High School Senior Savian Martinez won a Toyota Corolla on May 15, that was reportedly donated by North Park Toyota.

The class of 2025 from Southwest Legacy High School and CAST STEM High School participated in the annual SWHS Senior Walk that began at 5:30 p.m. off Old Pearsall Road to the Spring Sports Complex.

The big event offered free food, performances by students and the iconic walk – where seniors took part in a new tradition of passing on their Titan and Cobra spirit to younger students. Immediately following the senior walk, organizers announced Martinez had won the brand new car. The teen was full of emotion and celebrated his big win with his family, friends and teachers.

His mom, who was present at the event said she was thankful to God, the high school and the Toyota family for gifting her son with a new vehicle.
