The Spurs mural at Rudy’s Seafood will soon feature the veteran point guard.

SAN ANTONIO — If you want to visit San Antonio Spurs murals, you can drive to any part of the city and likely find one.

However, you can visit one of the city’s largest Spurs murals on the south side at Rudy’s Seafood.

In case you didn’t know, the popular south-side seafood spot boasts a massive collection of Spurs murals honoring players from the past and present.

You’ll find David Robinson, Manu Ginobili, Keldon Johnson, Tre Jones, Victor Wembanyama, and Jeremy Sochan, to name a few. Even the Spurs mascot, the Coyote, has a mural.

Now, you can expect a new addition to the mural: Chris Paul.

San Antonio artist Nik Soupe (who created all of the murals at Rudy’s Seafood) announced that Paul’s likeness will be added to the mural and shared its progress on social media.

“Hey hey cool kats n kittens!! Been awhile since I’ve painted over at @rudys_seafood_ but I’m back on it really excited about this @cp3. Experimenting with a couple new things and finally getting to try an installation process that’s been on my mind for a while!!”

The mural will feature the Spurs’ retro Fiesta colors, Paul’s name splashed across it, and his “CP3” moniker. It will also be another mural in his honor since arriving in San Antonio.

Several Spurs murals dot the city; however, check out the team shrine downtown if you want something different. It is like a time capsule, with memorabilia from the team’s Hemisfair Arena days to the present.
