SAN ANTONIO — If you want to visit San Antonio Spurs murals, you can drive anywhere in the city and likely find one. You can see one of the city’s largest Spurs murals on the south side at Rudy’s Seafood.

There, you’ll find murals honoring David Robinson, Gregg Popovich, Manu Ginobili, Keldon Johnson, Devin Vassell, and Jeremy Sochan, among others, scattered throughout the city.

Now you can add two more to the massive mural: Luke Kornet and Harrison Barnes.

San Antonio artist Nik Soupe has been hard at work creating the Kornet and Barnes’ mural at Rudy’s Seafood Restaurant on south Flores Street.

Both murals depict the players in their Icon Edition jerseys with the new jersey patch sponsor Ledger to be added, and “Spurs” is visible in the background of both. The new murals join others at Rudy’s Seafood, including David Robinson, Victor Wembanyama, Keldon Johnson, Jeremy Sochan, Manu Ginobili, Gregg Popovich, and Tim Duncan.

Other murals have been popping up in San Antonio, including one honoring rookie Dylan Harper’s Filipino roots.

San Antonio artist Colton Valentine created the Harper mural at Filipino restaurant Sari Sari San Antonio. The mural features Harper in a white Association Spurs jersey, with the Filipino flag in the background.

“Forever thankful to highlight inspiring humans like [Dylan Harper] and work with even more inspiring folks over at Sari Sari SATX,” posted Valentine. “Shout out to Sari Sari SATX for teaming up on this one! All about Pinoy Pride! And they are [gonna] be a part of the Spurs culinary residency this year.”

There is also a new Harper mural at Rudy’s Seafood Restaurant.

For a player to receive his own San Antonio mural is a badge of honor. It means the community accepts them and feels they are part of the community.
