LOOK: Spurs rookie Dylan Harper gets a San Antonio mural reflecting his Filipino roots

SAN ANTONIO — If you want to visit San Antonio Spurs murals, you can drive to any part of the city and likely find one. You can see one of the city’s largest Spurs murals on the Southside at Rudy’s Seafood, or visit downtown and visit a Spurs-themed prayer candle.

You’ll find murals honoring David Robinson, Gregg Popovich, Manu Ginobili, Keldon Johnson, Devin Vassell, and Jeremy Sochan, among others, scattered throughout the city.

Now you can add a new mural to your to-do list, and this one features rookie Dylan Harper and honors his Filipino roots.

San Antonio artist Colton Valentine created the Harper mural at Filipino restaurant Sari Sari San Antonio. The mural features Harper in a white Association Spurs jersey, with the Filipino flag in the background.

“Forever thankful to highlight inspiring humans like [Dylan Harper] and work with even more inspiring folks over at Sari Sari SATX,” posted Valentine. “Shout out to Sari Sari SATX for teaming up on this one! All about Pinoy Pride! And they are [gonna] be a part of the Spurs culinary residency this year.”

The new Harper mural joins his other mural located at Rudy’s Seafood Restaurant on the Southside.
