SAN ANTONIO — People across many Texas communities are shining a green light to honor victims of the tragic flood and those who are still missing. The color green is inspired by the color of Camp Mystic.
Now you can shine a green light as well by picking up a free green outdoor LED light bulb from a Lowe’s near you.
Starting Saturday, July 19 at 9 a.m. until supplies last light bulbs can be picked up in the checkout area, and you don’t have to buy anything.
Lowe’s pledged $500,000 to support nonprofit organizations and first responders as they work to help people and aid in the recovery efforts in the Texas Hill Country.
In addition, Lowe’s associates have been helping community-led relief efforts in the impacted areas, including distributing relief supplies to area residents and donating products to support relief and recovery work.
