One lucky person won $1 million on a Powerball ticket that was purchased at a gas station on the north side of the city, according to the Texas Lottery website.

The Powerball winning numbers were drawn on Monday, Jan. 20. The winning numbers for that drawing were 15, 16, 32, 47, 54 and the Powerball number 6. The ticket holder got 5 numbers correct but did not get the Powerball number, which was 7. They were one digit short from winning the $20 million jackpot.

They also did not use a Quick Pick – which is where a computer randomly generates the numbers picked.

The ticket was sold at the QuikTrip located at 9919 San Pedro Avenue, San Antonio, TX 78216.

According to the Texas Lottery, tickets must be claimed no later than 180 days after the draw date. A ticket is also not a valid winning ticket until it is presented for payment and meets the Commission’s validation requirements.

The claimant decided to remain anonymous.
