SAN ANTONIO — If your calendar could use a little more joy (and your weekend could use a little more dancing), San Antonio is ringing in the Lunar New Year with a community celebration you won’t want to miss.
The Lunar New Year Block Party is set for Friday, Feb. 28 from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the SA Yacht Club, located on The Pearl’s Back Porch at 310 W. Grayson.
Organizers say this year’s celebration is all about forward motion, community connection, and showing up for one another as the city rides into the Year of the Horse.
The event will feature 60+ local vendors, making it the perfect place to shop small, grab a bite, and support San Antonio creatives.
Expect an evening full of energy with food, drinks, music, and cultural performances, including a special blessing of the block by the San Antonio Lion Dance Association.
Guest DJs will keep the party going throughout the night, bringing the kind of soundtrack that makes it impossible to stand still.
