SAN ANTONIO — A spectacular after-dark holiday light show returns to the San Antonio Botanical Garden on Friday.
Lightscape takes visitors on a mesmerizing journey through a one-mile path surrounded by beautiful lights and seasonal music.
The magical holiday event is open to the public from November 17 through January 1.
According to the botanical gardens website over 1 million lights are used in Lightscape. These lights are transformed into creative displays that transform the garden into a holiday wonderland.
Fan favorites like the Winter Cathedral, the Fire Garden featuring the beloved 25-foot dragon and the stunning display of bluebonnets will be featured in this year’s event.
Visitors can also enjoy delicious festive foods including hot cocoa which adults can make “boozy”, fresh buttered popcorn, tamales, and s’mores. The concessions are available throughout the garden with festive seating areas.
