According to police, a man was meeting his ex-girlfriend and child at a location on Loop 1604 and got into a fight with the woman’s current boyfriend.
SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio Police are at the scene of a major crash off of Highway 151 on the west side that may connected to a shooting that happened earlier at a Motel 6.
The crash happened around 10:30 a.m. Monday off of State Highway 151 near Classic Drive.
According to police, a man was meeting his ex-girlfriend and child at a Motel 6 on Loop 1604 and got into a fight with the woman’s current boyfriend.
The ex-boyfriend and current boyfriend got into a fist fight then the ex pulled out a weapon and fired, hitting the new boyfriend. He drove away and that’s when he crashed his vehicle.
That victim was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The ex-boyfriend, who police identified as the shooter, was found at a Walgreens and has been arrested on the northwest side of town.
