A crash closed the intersection of FM 1516 N and Crestway Road Thursday afternoon, prompting traffic delays but no reported injuries.
CONVERSE, Texas — The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a major accident on the city’s northeast side that has led to a road closure and traffic delays Thursday afternoon.
Deputies responded around 1:20 p.m. to the 6100 block of Crestway Road. As a result of the crash, the intersection near the 6600 block of Farm to Market 1516 N and the 9900 block of Crestway Road has been shut down.
Officials say traffic delays are expected while crews work the scene. No injuries have been reported at this time.
Drivers are urged to avoid the area if possible and seek alternate routes.
