San Antonio Spurs players spend offseason helping serve food at Haven For Hope.
SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio Spurs‘ Dylan Harper, Carter Bryant and Riley Minix spent a part of their offseason serving excellent food at Haven For Hope.
“We’re at Haven For Hope for the Food Bank just giving back and helping serve the community,” Minix said.
The trio helped feed those in need with pizza, vegetables, pasta and a variety of other foods.
Haven For Hope’s mission is to offer a place of hope, love, and new beginnings by providing, delivering, or coordinating care for people experiencing homelessness in San Antonio.
What the young Spurs did helped push that mission forward by donating their time, smiles, conversation, and set the example of how everyone should roll up their sleeves and help the homeless in San Antonio.
“These people go through a lot every day,” Bryant said. “We’re serving them for one day, and they are so grateful for us coming in and helping them.”
