Man accused of firing shot during property dispute on southwest side of San Antonio

Police say a dispute over property escalated into gunfire Saturday night, but no injuries were reported.

SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio police are investigating after a property dispute turned into a shooting scare Saturday night.

According to the San Antonio Police Department, officers were called around 5:49 p.m. to the 8700 block of Yellow Knife for a shooting in progress.

Investigators say a 32-year-old man was involved in an active disturbance with two people who had arrived at the home over a dispute involving property.

Police say the man then came out of the residence and fired a shot into the ground.

No one was hurt, and officers documented the incident.

The investigation remains ongoing.
