Police charged a 31-year-old man with murdering his mother at a northwest-side apartment complex.
SAN ANTONIO — A man is accused of killing his mother at a northwest-side apartment complex early Tuesday morning, police say.
The incident happened around 2:35 a.m. in the 8800 block of Cinnamon Creek.
Police say officers arrived at the apartment after several calls came in for a man out in the street yelling for help. Officers made contact with the 31-year-old man, who told them he had killed his mother, police said.
The man told officers his mother was inside the apartment and the door was unlocked. Officers checked the apartment and found the 68-year-old woman had died in the hallway, police said. Police did not say how she died, but said the woman was reportedly found with “physical injuries.”
The man was charged with murder.
