
The suspect also lived next door to the victim.
SAN ANTONIO — A man has been arrested in connection to an east-side stabbing back in September of 2024, according to documents.
Jeremy Rodriguez Hernandez, 32, has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
According to an arrest affidavit, SAPD responded to a stabbing at the 5400 block of Firestar Trail on Friday, September 27.
Police said an argument “over a trash can” took place between Hernandez and his uncle Friday morning around 7:21 a.m. It was determined that the victim and Hernandez lived next door to each other.
During the argument, Hernandez stabbed the victim multiple times before fleeing the scene, according to documents.
The victim was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
Witnesses were able to positively identify Hernandez as the suspect. Surveillance video was also obtained by authorities.
