Man arrested, accused of shooting another man after a fight on the southeast side, police say

Police in San Antonio have arrested a suspect after a Sunday night shooting on Goliad Road. A man was critically injured, sparking an ongoing investigation.

SAN ANTONIO — The San Antonio Police Department has arrested an individual after a shooting on the southeast side Sunday night.

Around 8 p.m., SAPD responded to an apartment complex on the 2300 block of Goliad Road after receiving a call from a man who allegedly called saying he had shot someone.

Police say a man was shot in the “upper area” after a fight between two men. The man who was shot was taken to the hospital and was in critical but stable condition at last check.

The suspect was taken into custody without incident. 

This is an ongoing investigation.
