
Armando Salazar, 51, is facing a theft charge after allegedly stealing more than $1,700 worth of brisket from several grocery stores across Central Texas.
AUSTIN, Texas — A Harris County man is facing a theft charge after allegedly stealing more than $1,700 worth of brisket from several grocery stores across Central Texas.
According to the Buda Police Department, 51-year-old Armando Salazar was arrested on Dec. 6 and is accused of stealing brisket from an H-E-B in Buda, a Walmart in Buda and other grocery stores in Manor and Austin. In their post announcing his arrest, Buda police posted a photo showing 20 briskets that had been stolen.
Salazar is charged with theft of less than $2,500 with two or more prior convictions. His bond was set at $2,500.
