Man arrested after Bexar County deputies find young girl in his car during traffic stop

Deputies say a traffic stop led to the arrest of a 24-year-old man after finding a young girl in his car who claimed she had been sexually assaulted.

SAN ANTONIO — A 24-year-old man was arrested after Bexar County Precinct 2 deputy constables said they found a young girl in his car during a traffic stop on the northwest side.

Deputies said they pulled over Bailey Estrada on Monday and noticed both he and the girl appeared nervous. During questioning, investigators said the girl indicated she had been sexually assaulted over several days.

Estrada was taken into custody and charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child, according to the Bexar County Constable’s Office, Precinct 2.

Deputies contacted the girl’s family and she was released to them before being taken to a hospital for evaluation.

Estrada was booked into the Bexar County Jail on a $65,000 bond, which records show he has since posted.

The case will be reviewed by a grand jury to determine whether Estrada will be formally indicted.
