SAN ANTONIO — A man is in custody after an hours-long standoff with San Antonio Police at an apartment complex on the northwest side of town.
The call came in around 10:45 a.m. to the Tribute at the Rim apartments in the 5800 block of Worth Parkway.
Police say the suspect tried to stab two maintenance workers at the complex, then attacked a security guard who intervened to stop the attack.
Investigators say the man then barricaded himself in an apartment, and after nearly four hours, SWAT was able to get into the apartment and arrest him.
Nobody was hurt in the incident.
SAPD says the 30-year-old suspect is facing a charge for aggravated assault against a security officer.
This is a developing story.
