Man arrested after threatening to kill ‘No Kings’ protestors in San Antonio, documents say

Man charged with making threats to commit violence to a public protest that was held in the downtown area.

SAN ANTONIO — A man is accused of threatening to kill protestors in San Antonio over the weekend, according to an arrest affidavit. 

Robert Flores, 66, was charged with making a terrorist threat – impact to public service/public fear – serious bodily injury/influence government. This charge is a third degree felony. 

Friday night, Flores posted multiple comments on his Threads account about the “No Kings” protestors that would be in downtown San Antonio on Saturday, according to the arrest affidavit. Documents show that Flores commented that he was going to kill the protestors. 

“I’ll run you f***ers over and then go have coffee and breakfast at Jim’s. You are the insignificant. I just want to make sure you don’t miss the party. All of you that plan to attend please say goodbye to your loved ones as you leave tomorrow morning. Some of you will not return,” Flores said in the post, according to the arrest affidavit. 

Flores also responded to several comments stating that “killing a Democrat is acceptable.” 

According to the arrest affidavit, investigators were able to obtain information from the technology company, Meta, which helped identify Flores as the person posting the threats. The authorities were also able to find his address. 

Flores was arrested Sunday and booked into the Bexar County jail. According to the county magistrate website, he was released on bond.
