SAN ANTONIO — A 58-year-old man has been arrested for indecency to a child, which stems from allegations made back in 2019.
The victim’s mother said she saw Javier Vasquez leaving a public restroom with her then 6-year-old child. San Antonio Police said tests confirmed Vasquez’s DNA was on the child.
SAPD issued a warrant for Vasquez’s arrest, and ever since then, they have been on the hunt for him.
After four years and several attempts to arrest Vasquez, SAPD said a family member reported to them that Vasquez was seen at his residence, and they were able to make an arrest.
Vasquez is facing a charge of indecency with a child.
