SAN ANTONIO — A woman was critically injured by a suspected drunk driver after he crashed his vehicle head on into hers on the northeast side of town.
San Antonio Police responded to the 14100 Block of Bulverde Road around 10:30 p.m. Friday for reports of an accident with injuries.
When officers arrived at the location, they found the 33-year-old victim with serious injuries. She was taken to a local hospital in critical condition.
Police say the woman was driving south in a red 2019 Chevy Cruze on Bulverde Road when the driver of a red 2016 Nissan Rogue who was headed north, drifted into her lane and crashed into her head on.
The driver of the Nissan was evaluated at the scene for intoxication and was booked for driving while intoxicated.
Police say at last check, the woman was in stable condition.
