SAN ANTONIO — Homeland Security San Antonio (HSISA) has confirmed that a man has been arrested for smuggling 16 “illegal aliens.”
HSISA, with the help of the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office, encountered 16 “illegal aliens” reportedly being smuggled by Abelardo Herrera.

Herrera was arrested for his role in an alleged human smuggling “cell that stretched from Laredo to Bexar County.”
