
San Antonio police said a neighbor heard the attack and fatally shot the two pitbulls, who apparently escaped from a yard.
SAN ANTONIO — The San Antonio Police Department said a man was walking down Buena Vista Street when two dogs attacked him.
Police said the pitbulls appeared to have gotten out of a yard and when a neighbor heard the attack happening, they came out with a gun and killed the dogs.
The victim was treated and taken to a hospital reportedly in good health but sustained several bites on his legs.
Investigators are interviewing the owner of the dogs to determine if any charges will be filed.
