SAN ANTONIO — Police responding to a call for a man covered in blood quickly discovered a woman had been shot and killed in a nearby apartment Monday morning.
The first call came in around 6 a.m. to the Oak Creek Apartments in the 6100 block of Vance Jackson. Police say they found a man wandering around and covered in blood. Officers say he appeared distraught and was acting in a “bizarre” way.
They say another call came in for reports of a dead body inside an apartment. Police say they found a woman in her 40’s dead from gunshot wounds.
Police said it is too early to tell how the man covered in blood is related to the shooting victim. Police are still investigating.
