Man cut during fight with another man on west side, police say

SAN ANTONIO — A man ended up with a cut above his eyebrow during a fight with another man on the west side of town late Monday, police say.

San Antonio Police responded to the Westwood Plaza Apartments located in the 2600 block of Westward Drive around 9:36 p.m. for reports of a fight.

When officers arrived at the location, they found the victim with a cut above his eyebrow. He was taken to the hospital for his injury.

Police say the suspect fled from the scene following the fight. The initial suspect description they obtained from witnesses was inaccurate, so police were actively trying to get a better description from the victim at the hospital.

The cutting remains under investigation.
