SAN ANTONIO — Authorities say an unidentified man is dead after a jet engine crushed him while it was on a loading dock at the Boeing Center at Tech Port in San Antonio. It’s unclear if the engine fell on him.
Around 4:30 p.m., the San Antonio Police Department responded to the 3300 block of General Hudnell Drive after receiving a report of someone dead at the Boeing Center at Tech Port, an event center which opened in 2022.
The preliminary investigation revealed a jet engine was on a loading dock when it crushed the man, killing him instantly, according to officials. That information could change as their investigation continues.
Officials remain on the scene as they help with the extraction.
