A portion of Interstate-10 was closed for several hours while police investigated the incident.
SAN ANTONIO — A man is dead after police say he jumped out of a moving vehicle on I-10 and was struck by several cars.
It happened around 7:30 p.m. on Interstate 10 near the Hildebrand Avenue exit.
According to police, the 37-year-old man jumped out of a moving vehicle and then was hit by several other vehicles. No word on why he jumped out of the vehicle.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
A portion of Interstate 10 was closed for several hours while police investigated the incident.
The highway was re-opened after the scene was released by investigative units.
Police say there are no charges pending in this case.
