The preliminary investigation revealed their to be two suspects involved in the shooting.
SAN ANTONIO — The San Antonio Police Department has confirmed a man is dead after being shot near Woodlawn Lake.
Around 9 p.m., officials responded to North Hamilton Avenue near West Poplar Street after receiving reports of a shooting.
Upon arrival, authorities say they found a person in critical condition and suffering from life-threatening injuries.
The preliminary investigation revealed their to be two suspects involved in the shooting. SAPD says one of the suspects fired multiple shots, striking the victim before running from the scene.
The individual was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
