DEL RIO, Texas — The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating a fatal crash after a Mack truck tractor flips over while towing a trailer in Del Rio.

Around 4:30 p.m. on Feb. 10, officials responded to FM 468 and Johnson Ranch Road at mile marker 438 in Dimmit County after receiving reports of a crash.

The preliminary investigation revealed a 2013 white Mack truck tractor towing a 2022 token trailer was traveling southbound on FM 468 approaching a curve on Johnson Ranch Road at an “unsafe speed” while crossing over the center strip.
