Information is limited at this time but SAPD has confirmed a man is dead following a shooting on the southwest side.
SAN ANTONIO — The San Antonio Police Department has confirmed a man is dead and another is in custody after a shooting on the southwest side.
Around 2:30 p.m., SAPD responded to the 8600 block of Southwest Loop 410 after receiving reports of a shooting.
Information is limited at this time but SAPD said they believe a fight broke out between two men allegedly over a girl, who is being questioned by authorities.
A 49-year-old man was found dead on the scene and a 44-year-old man was placed into police custody, according to SAPD.
This is an ongoing investigation.
