
The driver and passenger of the truck that rolled over were said to be in their 70s and the man was found dead on the scene while the woman was hospitalized.
SAN ANTONIO — The San Antonio Police Department confirmed a man in his 70s has died and a woman in her 70s was hospitalized in critical condition after a “major crash” on Interstate 35 in San Antonio.
Around 2 p.m., officials responded to the southbound lanes of I-35 after receiving reports of a rollover crash.
Preliminary reports suggests both the truck and car were traveling southbound when the truck lost control of his vehicle and clipped the front bumper of the car before rolling over on the highway.
Police told KENS 5 the driver and passenger of the truck were in their 70s and the man was found dead on the scene while the woman was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries
The driver of the car was in their 20s and treated on the scene for minor injuries but was not seriously hurt.
