Police said it is unknown what caused the man to fall out of the truck or why the door opened in the first place.
SAN ANTONIO — A man is dead after San Antonio police said he fell out of a moving pickup truck on the city’s northeast side Tuesday night.
According to police, two men were driving along the 13000 block of Scarsdale in a neighborhood near the Northern Hills Golf Club at around 11:13 p.m.
At some point, police say the passenger fell out of the truck and onto the road. It is unclear at this time what caused the man to fall out or why the door opened in the first place.
Police said EMS arrived and tried to save the victim, a man believed to be in his 20s, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
This is an ongoing investigation.
