
The victim sustained life-threatening injuries and died at the scene, according to police.
SAN ANTONIO — The San Antonio Fire Department has confirmed one person is dead after a two-vehicle collision on the northwest side.
Around 6:45 p.m., officials responded to reports of a crash on Kyle Seale Parkway.
Upon arrival, authorities discovered that the crash involved two vehicles, resulting in the death of a 44-year-old man. SAFD says no one else was injured in the crash.
SAPD says the victim exited the private drive with his vehicle in the 14900 block of Kyle Seale Parkway. A truck was driving north on Kyle Seale Parkway at the same time.
The victim entered the roadway and police say he failed to yield to the truck, who crashed into the side of the victim’s vehicle.
The victim sustained life-threatening injuries and died at the scene, according to police.
The driver of the truck remained on scene and cooperated with the investigation. They aren’t expected to be facing any criminal causes.
