SAN ANTONIO — A man drowned while trying swim across Woodlawn Lake Park Wednesday morning, police say.
This happened just after 9 a.m. Wednesday morning at the lake on Cincinnati Avenue, northwest of downtown.
Witnesses say the man jumped into the lake, began swimming, then showed signs of struggling.
A woman and a man were able to pull him from the lake and began CPR.
First responders arrived and transported the man to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
His identity has not been released.
