He was taken to University Hospital and is expected to recover from his injuries.

SAN ANTONIO — A man was ejected from his vehicle in a rollover crash that happened late Tuesday night on the west side of town, police say.

It happened just before 10 p.m. on Texas 151 and Highway 90.

Police say the man somehow lost control of his vehicle, then rolled the car flipping it several times before stopping.

He was thrown from the vehicle causing road rash on his body.

First responders expected a much worse outcome, but when they arrived they found he was just scraped and bruised from being ejected.

He was taken to University Hospital as a precaution and is expected to recover.
