They said the man was at the Bellville Hospital for treatment when he somehow got away.
HOUSTON — The search is on for a man who escaped custody in Waller County Thursday.
The Waller County Sheriff’s Office posted that at around 7 p.m., the man, identified as Salvador Saucedo, escaped while undergoing tests at the Bellville Hospital.
At this point, it’s not clear how he got away or why he was at the hospital. We also don’t know why he was in custody.
In its posting, the sheriff’s office says Saucedo was last seen at around 7 p.m. wearing an orange shirt and blue jeans.
