
A man with stab wounds was able to get away and call for help after a cutting, but the suspect is still on the run.
SAN ANTONIO — Police are searching for a suspect after a man was stabbed on the west side of San Antonio.
Officers were called around 7:42 p.m. Saturday to the 2000 block of SW 36th Street for a reported cutting.
When they arrived, they found a 58-year-old man with stab wounds from a sharp object.
Investigators say the attack happened at a different location, but the man was able to escape and call police.
The victim was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police have not identified a suspect, and it’s still unclear what led up to the incident.
The investigation is ongoing.
