SAN ANTONIO — A 27-year-old man is facing charges after reportedly firing a gun into the air near Balcones Heights Sunday morning.
Police officers received multiple calls for a shooting in progress in both the 5100 block of Donna Drive and also the 3700 block of Oak Trail around 12:45 a.m.
The callers told police that the suspect had discharged his firearm in the air and then took off on foot.
Officers located the suspect near the 100 block of West Midcrest, just a few blocks away, and took him into custody.
No injuries were reported from the shooting, and no reports of any damage occurred.
The suspect is facing a charge of “Discharging a firearm in Municipality.”
