Man fatally stabbed in chest on west side Monday

Police found the victim, a man in his 30s, deceased at the location.

SAN ANTONIO — A man was found fatally stabbed on the west side of town by police Monday morning.

San Antonio Police responded to the intersection of North Zarzamora Street and West Poplar Street around 9:15 a.m. for reports of a cutting victim.

When officers arrived, they found the victim, a man in his 30s, dead from a stab wound to his chest.

Police do not have any more information about how it happened or who may be responsible.

The incident is under investigation.
