SAN ANTONIO — A man is in the hospital after being shot in the stomach on the west side of town Tuesday night.
The shooting happened in front of the EA Grocery store on the corner of Chihuahua and SW 19th Street around 9:30 p.m.
When police got to the scene, they found the 20-something-year-old man on the ground in front of the grocery store with a gunshot wound to his abdomen.
The victim was rushed to the hospital with possible life-threatening injuries, but we don’t know what kind of condition he’s in at this time.
Police say the shooting actually happened in the street, but that’s about all they’ve told us so far. The suspect was described as a man wearing a red shirt who used a small caliber handgun.
