
Police say the man had obvious signs of head trauma and they are investigating what may have happened.
SAN ANTONIO — A man has died after he was found with obvious signs of head trauma by police on the east side of San Antonio Saturday evening.
Officers were dispatched to Arthur Street near St. James Street around 7:30 p.m. for reports of an obviously injured man laying on the road.
A caller had contacted police saying that there was a man in the roadway who appeared to be assaulted. When officers arrived, they found the man with obvious signs of head trauma. He was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
Police aren’t sure what led up to the assault. SAPD does not have a suspect or even a description of a suspect at this time.
The victim has not yet been identified.
