Seth Little received a 40-year sentence for killing Corwin Davis during a robbery attempt.
SAN ANTONIO — A judge on Friday sentenced Seth Little to 40 years in prison after he was convicted in the 2022 killing of Corwin Davis in Adkins, a community in east Bexar County.
Seth Little, 23, and his suspected accomplice, 29-year-old Malyk Jason, were arrested in May 2023, a year after they arrived at Davis’ home in the 11700 block of Loop 107 with the intent to rob him, the Bexar County District Attorney’s Office said in a release. At some point, shots rang out, and law enforcement arrived to find Davis dead.
Authorities in 2023 said evidence found at the scene eventually led to authorities Little and Jason, who were already in jail on unrelated charges. Little was sentenced to four decades in prison; the sentence will run concurrent to his punishments for aggravated robbery and theft, charges stemming from a separate incident.
“Although there is nothing that can restore the loss of life, we can ensure Corwin’s memory is honored through accountability,” Bexar County DA Joe Gonzales said in the release.
Jason is set to be sentenced on Jan. 23, according to online court records.
