Man grazed by bullet in his head at Time Out Sports Bar, police say

The shooting happened just after midnight on Sunday in Converse.

CONVERSE, Texas — A man was grazed in the head by a bullet in a shooting at a northeast-side sports bar over the weekend, according to Bexar County Sheriff’s Office.

It happened just after midnight on Sunday at the Time Out Sports Bar in the 8000 block of FM 78 in Converse.

Deputies say the 41-year-old man who was grazed by the bullet was taken to BAMC with a non-life-threatening injury.

The suspect who fired the shot is described as a heavy-set man. Deputies say he fled from the scene in a white pickup truck following the shooting.

BCSO obtained surveillance footage from a nearby business showing a potential suspect vehicle around the time of the incident.

The manager of the bar refused to give officers any footage from their cameras, officials say.

The investigation remains ongoing and investigators are asking anyone with any information to contact BCSO by calling (210) 335-6000 or email BCSOTIPS@bexar.org.
