SAN ANTONIO — A young man was grazed by a bullet while he was hanging out with some friends at an apartment complex on the northeast side of town, police say.

It happened around 11:40 p.m. Sunday in the 14200 block of Judson Road near Lookout Road. Police say the person reporting the shooting said someone banged on their door claiming they’d been shot.

The victim told police he was hanging out with friends at the pool when he heard shots fired and felt the sting of a bullet grazing his leg. His friends went back to their apartment and the girl he showed up with took off as well.

Police believe there is more to the story and are investigating. No suspect has been identified.

This is a developing story.
