Police say a man in his late 30s was shot and killed in his car at Oakstone Apartments. The suspect fled in a black vehicle.
SAN ANTONIO — A man “hanging out in his car” was shot and killed early Saturday morning, police say.
Just after 4 a.m., police say a man in his late 30s was in his car in the parking lot of the Oakstone Apartments located in the 2600 block of NE Loop 410.
Police say at some point another vehicle came around “checking vehicles.” The victim and the suspect allegedly got into some type of altercation which resulted in a shot being fired, hitting the victim.
First responders attempted life-saving measures, but the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say the suspect fled the scene in a black vehicle.
No other injuries were reported.
