SAN ANTONIO — A man died after being struck by a vehicle while attempting to cross a west side highway early Friday morning, according to the San Antonio Police Department.
The incident was reported around 2:53 a.m. along Loop 410 near Marbach Road, just before the Highway 90 exit.
According to SAPD, an adult male was attempting to run across the highway when he was struck by a sedan.
Police said the driver stopped and remained at the scene to render aid.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene by EMS, according to officials.
Authorities said no charges have been filed at this time.
The incident is under investigation.
