
The motorcyclist fled from the location before officers arrived.
SAN ANTONIO — Police say a man who walking in a alley late Saturday night was hit by a motorcyclist, who did not stop to help him.
It happened around 8:22 p.m. at the intersection of Union Street and 8th Street just east of downtown.
Officers say the 51-year-old man was walking northbound in the alley at Union Street and 8th Street when someone speeding on a black motorcycle hit them.
After the suspect hit the pedestrian, he drove off without helping the victim.
Police say the victim sustained serious bodily injury as a result of being struck by the motorcyclist. The victim was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
When police locate the motorcyclist, they will face one charge of Collision Involving Serious Bodily Injury, according to SAPD.
